Q: How to hide the total grade from the grade book?
Step 1: Access your Canvas course, then click on Settings from the left bar menu.
Step 2: at the end of the settings page you will click on more options.
Step 3: tick both options Hide totals in student grades summary & Hide grade distribution graphs from students, then click on update course Details
Done! The total grade is now hidden from students.
* Please note that assignments in quizzes grades will be shown.
